Indian Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end bakery located in Los Angeles. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious Indian-inspired pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Your expertise in using traditional Indian flavors and techniques will help elevate our menu and attract customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test new recipes for Indian pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Ensure all products are made to the highest quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper techniques and procedures
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef, specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred
Salary: $1700/month
Location: Los Angeles, USA (Open to candidates of all nationalities)
