Merchandiser - Ashdod, Kenya


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Ashdod, Kenya. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing product displays in retail stores, ensuring that our products are prominently featured and visually appealing to customers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in merchandising, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it an ideal opportunity for students or those looking for additional income. Applicants must have their own work visa for Kenya. Salary is $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Visit retail stores on a regular basis to maintain product displays
- Set up new displays as needed and ensure that all products are properly stocked
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about restocking needs
- Ensure that all promotional materials are displayed correctly according to company guidelines
- Collaborate with store managers to develop effective merchandising strategies
- Keep track of product sales and provide feedback to management about customer preferences
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in merchandising or retail sales preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have own valid work visa for Kenya
