Metal Worker

A metalworking company in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled metal worker to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in fabricating, cutting, and welding various types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminum. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month, with potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using various tools such as saws, shears, and presses
- Weld or solder pieces together to create finished products
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a metal worker or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
- Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in different positions

Preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
