Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Multan. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our databases. You will also be involved in planning and implementing database upgrades, backups, and recovery processes. Your duties will include monitoring database activity, optimizing database performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of database management systems and experience with database administration tools. Knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing are also required. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database activity and ensure data integrity
- Optimize database performance by conducting regular maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the database system
- Plan and implement upgrades to the database system as needed
- Perform regular backups of the databases to ensure data security
- Monitor system logs for any potential issues or errors
- Collaborate with other IT teams to improve overall system performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
- In-depth understanding of SQL language and query optimization techniques
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to databases
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position. This is a full-time role without accommodation provided. However, we do offer free visa sponsorship and ticket for eligible candidates.
