Executive Chef

Our 5-star hotel based in Ajman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate must have proven experience working at a high-end establishment and possess strong leadership skills. The salary for this position is 1700$ per month. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will not be provided. Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and high-quality menus that meet the needs and preferences of our diverse clientele
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance and productivity
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficiency and control costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Monitor food costs and budget to maximize profitability

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field from an accredited institution preferred
- African nationality preferred but not required
