Executive Chef for Upscale Restaurant in Nakuru, Kenya


We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at an upscale restaurant in Nakuru, Kenya. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month and is open to Egyptian nationals with excellent English speaking skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Develop new menu items and regularly update existing menus to keep up with current food trends
- Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, purchasing decisions, and staffing needs

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative flair for developing innovative dishes while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
