Head Chef - Egyptian Cuisine
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to join our team in Jizan and lead our Egyptian cuisine kitchen. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and authentic Egyptian dishes, managing the kitchen operations, and training and supervising the kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create new and unique Egyptian dishes while maintaining the traditional flavors
- Plan menus according to seasonal availability of ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management on menu development and cost control measures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in an Egyptian cuisine restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Egyptian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative dishes while staying true to traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Fluency in English is preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position. Accommodation may also be provided for non-local candidates.
