Construction Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee our construction projects in Akron. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets all quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
- Determine project budgets and allocate resources accordingly
- Oversee the bidding process for contractors and subcontractors
- Review and approve construction plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Monitor progress of the project and make necessary adjustments to ensure it stays on track
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status
- Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any concerns or challenges
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial or residential construction projects
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams of contractors and subcontractors
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in project management software
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Akron, Ohio (preference for Indian candidates)
Note: This is an urgent position so applicants who can start immediately will be given preference. English fluency is required for effective communication with the project team. Valid biometric passport is also required for travel to and from the project site.
