Construction Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per week, with potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule construction projects, including resource allocation and budget management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers and other stakeholders
- Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards are met and safety regulations are followed
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
- Manage contracts, change orders and project documentation
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Construction Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods and materials
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience working with contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders

Preferences:
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
- English speaking proficiency required
- Knowledge of local construction laws and regulations preferred
