Concrete Worker

Our construction company is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Worker to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete surfaces on various construction projects. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in concrete work and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare the site for concrete placement by laying out forms, excavating, and grading
- Mix concrete according to specifications and pour it into designated areas
- Smooth and level concrete surfaces using hand or power tools
- Apply finishing techniques such as brushing, troweling, or stamping to create desired texture
- Monitor curing process and make adjustments as necessary
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete work
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Knowledge of different types of concrete mixes and their uses
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary: $1700 per month
