Entry Level Accountant


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Moscow. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$. While prior experience is not required, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be able to work independently. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract. The candidate must have their own valid visa allowing them to work in Moscow.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Conduct account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and other departments as needed
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role
- Knowledge of Russian accounting standards
- Familiarity with tax regulations
- Ability to speak Russian or another language fluently
