Librarian (Indian Nationals Only)


We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at a leading educational institution in Abu-Dhabi. As a Librarian, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our library resources, which include books, journals, electronic databases, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards
- Select, acquire, catalog, and classify materials for the library collection
- Assist students and faculty in finding relevant resources for their research needs
- Plan and conduct training sessions on how to effectively use library resources
- Manage the budget for library acquisitions and maintain accurate records of expenditures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the library meets the needs of the academic community
- Keep up-to-date with new developments in information management systems and technologies
- Promote the library's services through various marketing strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Librarian in an academic or research setting
- Excellent knowledge of information management systems and technologies
- Familiarity with electronic databases and digital resources
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Indian nationality is mandatory
- Must have a valid biometric passport

Salary: We offer a competitive salary package of 1700$ per month.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) located in Abu-Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible for finding their own accommodation. This position is only open to Indian nationals who have a valid biometric passport.
