Typesetter - Vianden, Luxembourg

Our publishing company is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have experience with typesetting software and strong attention to detail. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format text and images for print and digital publications
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Work closely with editors and designers to ensure layout meets specifications
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and software updates
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working in the publishing industry
- Knowledge of typography principles and design concepts
