Biometric Instrument Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Biometric Instrument Technician to join our team in Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing biometric instruments used for identification and security purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, as well as experience working with biometric technology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on biometric instruments
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in biometric technology
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an instrument technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and components
- Familiarity with biometric technology and its applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong record keeping abilities
Salary: $900 per week
Location: Atlanta, GA (Preference for Canadian candidates)
