Entry-Level Accountant


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Entry-Level Accountant to join our finance team in Ar-Ruwais. As an English-speaking candidate from Kenya, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited accounting experience to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be willing to learn and grow in their role. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts as needed
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation
- Identify areas for process improvements and make recommendations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
