Restaurant Manager (Malayalee Preferred) - Ashdod, Israel


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. We are a popular restaurant that specializes in Malayalee cuisine and we are looking for someone who is familiar with this type of food and culture. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in managing a restaurant, preferably with a background in Malayalee cuisine.

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining inventory and supplies, and creating schedules. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including opening/closing procedures
- Train and supervise staff members to ensure excellent customer service
- Create schedules for employees and manage payroll
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Work closely with the head chef to develop new menu items or specials
- Ensure all staff members adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in Malayalee cuisine
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is a plus)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
