Seasonal Executive Chef

As a Seasonal Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our resort in Akron. You will work closely with our team to create delicious and visually appealing dishes that cater to the diverse tastes of our guests. Your creative flair and attention to detail will be essential in developing new menus and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create menus that showcase local ingredients and cater to various dietary restrictions
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including ordering, inventory management, and recipe development
- Train and lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and maintaining sanitation standards
- Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dining experiences
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of diverse cuisines and ability to adapt recipes accordingly
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- A passion for food and creativity in menu development
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef
- Experience working in a seasonal environment is an asset
- Knowledge of Pakistani cuisine is an asset

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
