Land Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, preparing accurate maps and reports, and providing data for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying techniques and equipment, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an Indian national looking to gain experience in the field of land surveying. No English language skills are required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to identify property boundaries using specialized equipment
- Prepare accurate maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveyed areas
- Provide data for construction projects and assist with site planning
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy and efficiency in surveying projects
- Maintain records of survey data and prepare detailed reports
- Communicate with clients regarding project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to land surveying

Requirements:
- Indian national with a preference for candidates located in or near Bungoma
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in land surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in land surveying or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software (i.e. AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with local land laws and regulations preferred
