Barista - Malindi, Kenya (Indian Nationals Preferred)



We are in search of a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Barista, you will be responsible for brewing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You must have prior experience working as a Barista in a fast-paced coffee shop or restaurant setting. Knowledge of latte art and proficiency in using espresso machines is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and be able to provide exceptional customer service. Indian nationals are preferred for this position, but all qualified candidates are welcome to apply.

Salary: $1100 per month

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to company standards
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and brewing methods
- Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other equipment
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Take customer orders accurately and with a friendly attitude
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Restock supplies when needed

Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a Barista in a fast-paced coffee shop or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of latte art is preferred
- Proficiency in using espresso machines is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Availability to work full-time
- Indian nationality preferred (but not required)
