Masonry Supervisor
We are seeking a skilled Masonry Supervisor to join our team in Atlanta. As a Masonry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of masonry projects, ensuring that they are completed successfully, on time, and within budget. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in the masonry profession.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise masonry projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications
- Plan and schedule work assignments, ensuring timely completion of projects
- Manage a team of masons, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train new team members on proper masonry techniques and safety procedures
- Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazards
- Order materials and equipment needed for each project
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mason, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of different types of masonry materials, tools, and techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards for all work performed
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week for this full-time position.
Location:
This job is based in Atlanta but may require travel within the surrounding areas for different project sites.
