Construction Manager - Remish, Pakistan and Kenya
We are a leading construction company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Remish, Pakistan and Kenya. As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will work closely with our team of engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in construction management and a strong understanding of local building codes and regulations in both Pakistan and Kenya. Salary: 1000$ per month with additional benefits
Location: Remish, Pakistan and Kenya
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Construction Manager
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations in both Pakistan and Kenya
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Urdu or Swahili is a plus)
- Willingness to travel between Pakistan and Kenya as required
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the construction process from start to finish
- Develop project schedules and budgets, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
- Procure materials and equipment needed for construction projects
- Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes and regulations in both Pakistan & Kenya
- Monitor and maintain quality standards on all construction projects
- Manage project budgets, including the approval and tracking of expenses
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders
- Provide regular project updates to senior management
- Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the construction process
