A private library in Bayan, Kuwait is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join their team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the library's collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the acquisition, organization, and cataloging of books, periodicals, and digital resources
- Assisting patrons with finding materials and providing reference services
- Developing and implementing library programs and events to promote literacy and engage the community
- Maintaining accurate records of library materials and patron accounts
- Collaborating with other librarians to curate diverse collections that cater to the needs of the community
- Staying updated on current trends in literature and technology to enhance the library's offerings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Prior experience working in a library setting preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- Proficient in using library systems such as cataloging software and databases
- Knowledge of current technology trends in libraries such as e-books, online databases, etc.

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bayan, Kuwait

Nationality Preference: Indian (but open to all nationalities)

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)

We are looking for someone who is highly organized and pays close attention to detail. Strong communication skills are also essential as you will be interacting with diverse groups of people on a daily basis.

In addition to traditional library skills, we are also looking for someone who is familiar with current technology trends in libraries such as e-books and online databases. Basic English proficiency is preferred but not required for this position.

This is a part-time position with 20 hours per week. The salary for this role is 1600$ per month but can be negotiated based on experience. We welcome applicants of all nationalities, but we do have a preference for Indian nationals.
