Typesetter Specialist

As a Typesetter Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and formatting high-quality text and images for various print and digital media. You will work closely with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure that all content is visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Set up page layouts using typesetting software
- Format text and images according to established design standards
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with editors to make necessary changes or corrections
- Use creativity and attention to detail to enhance the visual appeal of content
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Experience working in a publishing or printing industry
- Familiarity with different file formats such as PDFs, EPUBs, etc.

Location: Faisalabad (own visa jobs available)
Salary: $1000 per month (part-time)
