Executive Chef for Kenyan Restaurant in Al Buraymi


We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a Kenyan restaurant in Al Buraymi. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Creating and designing menus that showcase traditional Kenyan cuisine, as well as fusion dishes
- Managing kitchen staff and ensuring quality control of all dishes
- Overseeing inventory and ordering of supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Training new staff members on menu items and cooking techniques
- Collaborating with the management team to develop new dishes and promotions
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations

Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Kenyan cuisine, as well as international cooking techniques
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff and management team
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and ordering systems
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness standards

Preference will be given to candidates who are Kenyan nationals or have prior experience working in Kenya. This is a contract position without accommodation, so candidates must have their own valid visa.
