Cashier/Checkout Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Cashier/Checkout Assistant to join our team at a busy retail store in Vilnius. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail. As a Cashier/Checkout Assistant, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it ideal for students or those looking for additional income. No previous experience is required, as training will be provided. This is an urgent requirement so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Scan and bag items accurately
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain an organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions or concerns
- Handle returns and exchanges in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English (Lithuanian language skills preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Basic math skills
- Customer service experience is an asset but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Salary: 1500$ per month (part-time)
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (candidates of Indian nationality preferred)
