Preservation Architect (English Speaking)
We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Akron. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation and restoration of historical buildings and structures. Your main duties will include conducting research, creating preservation plans, and overseeing the actual restoration process.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures
- Create comprehensive preservation plans that adhere to historical guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee the restoration process
- Monitor progress and ensure that all work is completed according to plans and specifications
- Manage project budget and timeline
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or questions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historical preservation guidelines and regulations
- Strong research skills
- Excellent project management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent communication skills
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
