Head Pastry Chef - Khasab, Oman


We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at our luxury resort in the beautiful city of Khasab, Oman. As a Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department and creating delicious desserts and pastries for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus in line with current trends and guest preferences
- Train and manage a team of pastry chefs, ensuring high quality standards are met at all times
- Maintain inventory levels and manage food costs while ensuring high quality ingredients are used
- Oversee the production of all pastry items for various outlets including restaurants, banquets, and room service
- Collaborate with other departments such as the kitchen, dining room, and catering to ensure effective communication and smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the pastry department

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail to create visually appealing desserts
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Salary: 1100$ per month (tax-free) + accommodation + transportation + healthcare benefits.
