Excavator Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Utena. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment used for excavation and construction projects. Your primary duties will include operating the excavator safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance on the equipment, and following all safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate the excavator to perform excavation, trenching, and other construction tasks
- Maneuver the equipment with precision and accuracy to avoid damage to surrounding structures or utilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the excavator, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
- Keep track of materials used and maintain inventory levels
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure safe operation of the equipment at all times
- Communicate with team members to coordinate project tasks and ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store equipment when not in use

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an excavator operator in a construction or excavation setting
- Valid excavator operator certification or license
- Experience with various types of heavy equipment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to identify potential hazards
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor as needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Salary: $1100 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract length: 1 year (with possibility of extension)
