Information Security Analyst


The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Analyst with a strong understanding of security protocols, risk management, and network infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive data and systems from potential cyber threats. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Analyze security risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, etc.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies
- Train employees on information security best practices
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, etc.)
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Understanding of web application security (OWASP Top 10)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or GIAC are preferred

Location: Los Angeles (Open to all nationalities)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $1400 per month
