Preservation Architect - Greenland


A leading architecture firm in Greenland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Preservation Architect to join our team. As the Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures within the city. This is a contract position without accommodation, so we are looking for individuals who are currently based in Greenland or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and strategies
- Inspecting buildings for structural integrity and identifying necessary repairs
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors on preservation projects
- Overseeing restoration work and ensuring it meets preservation standards
- Maintaining accurate records of all preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
- Knowledge of historic building materials, construction techniques, and preservation principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
