Entry Level Accountant


We are hiring an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Malindi. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for providing support to the financial department by performing various accounting tasks such as recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions in the company’s accounting software
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist with month-end close procedures including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Proven experience or internship in an accounting role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1800 per month

Nationality/Location: This position is open to individuals of any nationality who are currently living in Malindi or willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications:
