Typesetter

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for print or digital publications. Your main goal will be to ensure that the layout and design of the final product are visually appealing and easy to read. You should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Read through written material and determine the best way to present it visually
- Select appropriate fonts, font sizes, line spacing, and margins for each project
- Arrange text and images on a page or screen, taking into consideration factors such as readability, balance, and visual appeal
- Proofread your own work for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets client expectations
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text and design
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Balzers, Liechtenstein (accommodation provided)
