Location: Sheduva, Philippines/Kenya (preference)
Salary: $1800/month (negotiable)


We are in search of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Sheduva. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will also be expected to read and interpret blueprints and follow safety procedures while using hand and power tools.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and following technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Physical stamina to work long hours and lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines

Responsibilities:
- Reading blueprints, drawings, or plans to determine materials required for projects
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining materials using hand or power tools
- Installing structures such as floors, ceilings, roofs, windows, doors, etc.
- Repairing existing structures by replacing damaged wood or other materials
- Inspecting structures for any defects or issues that need repairing
- Following all safety procedures while working with tools and equipment
- Communicating with clients or team members to ensure project specifications are met

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
- Previous experience as a Carpenter or similar role is essential
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including framing, finishing, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers etc.
- Physically fit with good balance and coordination
