Fitter in Wiltz, Kenya



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team in Wiltz, Kenya. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment. This is a part-time position that offers a salary of 1500$ per month without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Install new mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance on existing systems to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues that arise
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to work with tools and equipment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience working with electrical systems is a plus
