Barista - Coffee Shop Assistant
Location: Muscat, Oman

We are a busy coffee shop in Muscat seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and other specialty drinks
- Use commercial espresso machines to make quality espresso-based drinks
- Maintain inventory of supplies such as coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other ingredients
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop at all times
- Take orders from customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Operate cash register to process transactions accurately
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Barista is preferred but not required
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Must be physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month plus tips. Part-time positions are also available.
