Puncher - Construction Worker

We are in need of a skilled Puncher to join our construction team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Puncher, you will be responsible for using hand-held tools to punch and make holes in various construction materials such as metal, wood, and plastic. Your main goal will be to ensure that all punched holes meet the required specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand-held tools such as hammers, punches, and drills to punch holes in construction materials.
- Measure and mark out precise locations for punching according to blueprints or instructions.
- Ensure that all punched holes meet the required size, shape, and positioning.
- Clean up any rough edges or burrs left by the punching process.
- Operate power tools and machinery such as grinders or sanders to smooth out surfaces if needed.
- Monitor inventory of punching tools and report any damaged or worn-out equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while handling tools and working on construction sites.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Puncher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of different types of hand-held punching tools and their uses.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and guidelines on construction sites.

Salary: $1200 per month
