AS A STAFF NURSE
• Take over from the ongoing staff

AS A STAFF IN THE SHIFT
• Taking charge of ward when required in the absence of the in-charge Nurse.

• Ensuring safety of the ward, taking into consideration staff allocation, skill mix and other environment factors.
• Teaching/Administration of junior stall
• Supervising of student nurses, junior nursing stall 'and nursing assistant.
• To act as a named nurse for the assessment, planning and evaluation of total care to tile patients.
• Assist Geriatric patients with mentally ill for their personal, physical & mentally care needs and help for health supervision.
• Work as appointed first aid worker
• Undertake the overall managerial responsibility of the area under control and demonstrate managerial competence.
• Help to ensure that all key workers and junior members or staff contributes to the best of their ability, the efficient running of the word and to create to rig atmosphere.
• To draw up the nurse's student nurse and career’s off-duty Rota whilst trying to make sure that all shifts are adequately covered to tile best of my ability.
• Make sure that all duty time sheets are written in advance.
• Change bath Rota’s, bed changing list and residents team lists as and when required.
• Help with the formation of Social and Health Care Plans for patients. Help with patients review along with the ward manger.
• To assist the manager in implementing the induction program for all new staff, and following it through to its ultimate conclusion.
• To participate in the development of activities for patient in which they can join in with, whilst enhancing the patient's quality of life.
• To give support to the key workers and activities coordinator and when required.
• Report emergencies.
