prepare weekly menus see to necessary stock for food preparation order neccessary stock as required manage incoming and outgoing stock organise daily food preparation supervise and organise all tasks of the kitchen staff maintain all safety and hygiene measures do monthly stocktake and record on computer system provide in-service training to assistant cook and kitchen staff assist recreation commitee in planning and execution of special events provide daily input to the general manager regarding menus,food presentations,basic nutritional issues,food portions,complaints and special requests plan working schedules in conjuction with food servicing
