Skills:
1. Participate in the Pre-Construction Meeting, Partnering, Coordination Meetings and Production Meetings.
2. Study and understand the project plan and client requirements including equipment to be used, specifications and procurement plan as well as prepare the method statement.
3. Provide technical advice in preparation of design drawings, plans and submittals as per standards and specification for civil construction, demolition and renovations.
4. Review contract requirements on those possible conflicts and unforeseen circumstances prior to start of project.
5. Evaluate all interim contract variations, deviation or any changes due to conflicts or obstructions as per actual site condition of the project.
6. Prepare and review estimates of probable claims for any variation of contract as per agreement with client.
7. Prepare demolition and deconstruction plan of the project in conjunction of specifications given by the client.
8. Coordinate between all supervisors/engineers in solving all conflicts during construction, renovation and demolition.
9. Prepare QC reports (production reports, quality control reports and weekly/monthly reports).
10. Hold weekly QC meetings with DOR, Superintendent and Government technical team; participation shall be suitable for the phase of work.
11. Immediately stop any work that does not comply with contract plans and specifications, and direct the removal and replacement of any defective work.
12. Maintain updated as built drawings and submittal log on site.
13. Maintain testing plan and log. Ensure that all testing is performed as per contract.
14. Maintain deficiency log on site, noting dates deficiency identified, and date corrected.
15. Certify and sign statement on each invoice that all work to be paid under the invoice has been completed in accordance with contract requirements.
16. Establish list of deficiencies, perform punch-out and participate on pre-final inspections & final inspections.
17. Ensure that all required keys. Operation and maintenance manuals, warranty certificates and the As-built drawing are submitted to the Contracting Officer.
18. Ensure that safety inspections are performed. Attend weekly Toolbox meetings.
19. Review AHA (Activity Hazards Analysis) and Working Permits to ensure everyone is following safety rules.
20. Coordinate with the Safety Manager to impose Safety system (OSHA and EM 385-1-1) to achieve zero accident and incidents of project.
21. Review tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business.
Additionally:
1. Responsible for site supervision, monitoring& inspection of Building and Civil work projects, from soil improvement/bored pile/excavation operation up to structural steel erection.
2. Do the excavation plan prior to start the excavation works, plan for dewatering locations below the water level and proper plan for the access road to be prepare for the future activity on site.
3. Assist project manager in construction site management and coordination among numerous civil, architectural, electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, and piping sub-contractors.
4. Monitor the work and activities on site, ensuring high supervision and in coordination of Subcontractors Engineers and Quality Control Engineers.
5. Make daily summarize report of all sub-contractors being handled for planning section record.
6. Study and understand the project plan and client requirements including equipment to be used, specifications and procurement plan as well as prepare the method of statement.
7. Coordination with subcontractor’s Engineers to maximize the assignments of workers in their specific job to do as per related in their categories. Review all the scope of works in accordance with the proper execution of the job.
8. Evaluate (BOQ) bill of quantities and construction schedules submitted by all sub-contractors for billing proposals and progress reports.
9. Responsible for all matters of construction like work plans & implementation of approved issued for construction drawing.
10. Conduct coordination meetings for all subcontractors and other discipline regarding project drawing & schedules, progress procedures including safety & quality measures
