Experience: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited | July 2024 – Present Engineer, Measurement Transmission Department Job Responsibilities: ➢ Manage the installation, operations, and maintenance of gas quality measurement equipment’s for the determination of energy and to ascertain the quality parameters of gas. ➢ Manage and carry out inspection & preventive maintenance activities of Gas Quality Measurement equipment’s and ensure the smooth operation. ➢ Ensure that issues including breakdown maintenance with respect to Gas Quality measurement equipment’s are adequately addressed. ➢ Continuously monitor and undertake analysis of the gas quality received from gas producers and undertake relevant tests to verify the same. ➢ Inspect and indicate errors during Joint Meter Check (JMC) and troubleshoot gas quality transmission issues. ➢ Ensure that Joint Meter Check activity with Distribution department is carried out in timely manner for the gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations in the region. ➢ Undertake calibration and verification of instruments at all metering stations to ensure the accuracy of metering station. ➢ Undertake the interval-based spot sampling and analysis of gas samples from various SMS locations to ensure the accurate energybased Billing. ➢ Evaluation of gas analysis results and identification of anomalies along with suggested corrective actions. ➢ Ensure that orifice metering systems at SMSs, Check Metering Stations and PODs are accurately measuring gas volumes. ➢ Ensure field activity/ maintenance activity reports are duly filled, signed, and submitted by the team and documentation record is maintained. ➢ Manage the installation and commissioning of new metering installations and/or upgradation of existing setup in the region. ➢ Keep close check and perform analysis of the data through remote monitoring system for the identification of problems and ensure that necessary corrective measures are taken in timely manner. ➢ Undertake any other task assigned by supervisor and HOD.
