Experience: Yoga Instructor- Freelance January 2018- Current Helping students find comfort in themselves and their body. Utilizing direct and precise communication to help the client follow the flow of movement and to correct their forms. While allowing the student to feel comfortable, while helping them reach their edge. Arizona State University October 2020-2022 Teacher's Assistant Assisting students with questions, review the lesson plans, giving additional materials or engaging with students who wanted to jnow more. While figuring out the needs of each student, where they could improve, and what they needed from me to be of most assistance to their development. Consumers Energy- Contract- April 2021- September 2021 Utilizing data to understand the required variables needed for a job, as well as to be able to utilize data analysis, gis, and designing a project outline to help the field workers with their job. Current Job Light works 2020-current Researching the properties of hydrogen energy and how it can be stored, transported, and used as a carrier. Learning how to make the energy storage more efficient and reliable in America's infrastructure and planning policies. Barista- Starbucks 2019-2021 • Upselling orders by offering an extra shot or a complimentary flavor. • Forming customer connections through asking questions and engaging in active listening. • Learning how to problem solve by listening to customer complaints, figuring out the root of their irritation, and creating a solution for their dissatisfaction. • Time and task managing, listing the tasks that are needed to be accomplished and attaching a scale of importance to each one. • Learning how to create a more communal, engaging space for myself and my coworkers • After a month of being hired in, customer satisfaction has increased from 55% to 83% Barista- Biggby Coffee 2016-2019 • Communicating with the customers throughout the entire process of their transaction; from greeting the customer within their first three footsteps of entering the establishment, while asking about their day when making their beverages, and through to wishing them farewell when they are taking their last footstep out the door • Asking the proper questions to help the customer discover what they desire • Staying friendly, calm, and level- headed throughout the rushes • Learning how to succeed in a stressful environment Volunteer- Tericaya Animal Conservation • Learning the process of rehabilitating species while caring for the rainforest in which we resided • Educating others about our work, the importance of it, and what would happen without it • Hiking through the forest to the tree canopy, where my group and I would search to recognize what type of species resided in this part of the reserve • Setting camera traps and collecting data weekly, to be able to declare what species regularly resided in each part of the conservation • Weed- whacking the jungle with our machetes and collecting food for the animals • Cleaning and preparing the food for the animals based off of the nutritionist's guidelines • Clean the animal's homes, and work on the maintenance of the structures and land, whether it would be hemming the canopies, checking the water pH’s or maintaining the trails
