DevOps Engineer
Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced DevOps Engineer to work on a FInTech project.
The task is to develop a platform that allows its users to manage their shares and other securities.
The customer is an international FinTech company that allows its clients to manage their shares in startups, tech unicorns, and corporate brands in more than 100 countries.
Tech stack on the project:Microsoft Azure, ASP.NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy, Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, New Relic, Pingdom, Microsoft SQL Server, CI (Jenkins, Bamboo), automated quality control (SonarQube), Elasticsearch, Graylog.
Tasks:
-Building and releasing infrastructure and product solutions across multiple geographic regions using Azure scalable cloud services through automation;
- Ensuring the deployment of infrastructure and product solutions, with scalability and reliability as key design requirements;
- Working with System Engineers, developers, and architects to design and implement automated solutions with CD pipelines for infrastructure and software building, deployment, and configuration;
- Implementing monitoring solutions using Grafana, Graylog, Prometheus, etc.;
- Building and maintaining tools, scripts, and processes increasing the efficiency of our developers and testers;
- Maintaining and securing the infrastructure that supports production systems and internal testing platforms;
- Documenting, developing, and implementing the customer’s ongoing projects and services;
- Supporting and troubleshooting production systems, including diagnosing and resolving post-deployment issues, patching servers, implementing automated server hardening policies, and eliminating incidents and downtime;
- Learning on the job and studying new technologies with minimal supervision;
- Keeping up with the industry trends to use the best tools and services.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline;
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a technical position in a dynamic fast-paced environment for 4+ years;
- Experience with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
- Experience in building infrastructure as code using Terraform, Chef, Puppet, and Ansible;
- Experience in deploying and managing containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience in deploying applications and reconfiguring in production environments;
- Proficiency in such scripting languages as Python, Bash, PowerShell, YAML, etc.;
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud;
- Experience in automating deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy);
- Monitoring (Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, New Relic, Pingdom);
- Experience with databases (Microsoft SQL Server);
- Knowledge of and experience with CI (Jenkins) and automated quality control (SonarQube);
- Experience in logging (Elasticsearch, Graylog);
- Level of English – Upper-Intermediate.
