KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reconciles account information and reported figures in the general ledger by comparing to bank account statements each month.
• Prepares and processes financial documents such as bills, receipts, and invoices.
• Reports financial discrepancies, errors, and customer complaints to the supervisor.
• Assists with administrative tasks such as filling out forms, filing, and answering phone calls and emails.
• Maintains financial records carefully and precisely, entering accurate information into forms and spreadsheets and making calculations based on previous and upcoming transactions, ensuring written communication is clear
• Organizes and reports on financial information to document payment histories and assist with sound financial accounting.
• Compiles financial spreadsheets, reports, statements, and other documents, as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• NO experience working as a financial clerk.
• Proven experience as a Finance Clerk
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions
• Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
• Take action to satisfy angry clients, resolving issues quickly and tactfully and putting negotiation techniques into practice
