Job Description:
Norgesfôr AS, a leading manufacturer of animal feed for livestock and pets, invites responsible and goal-oriented employees to work at its production facilities. Norgesfôr plants produce a wide range of feed products, including dry mixes, pellets, and wet food, all meeting the highest quality standards. Your work will involve packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment. We offer a comfortable working environment, comprehensive training, and attractive working conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
Product Packing:
- Preparation for packing: Ensure the continuous supply of raw materials for packing, monitor the weight and composition of feeds to meet standards.
- Packing products: Work on production lines to pack animal feed into various sizes and types of packaging, including bags, packets, and containers.
Packaging and Shipment Preparation:
- Packaging finished products: Ensure the integrity and security of packaging, operate automated equipment to seal and arrange products onto pallets.
- Shipment preparation: Prepare packed products for transportation, arrange them on pallets, and label them for warehouse tracking.
Labeling:
- Applying labels: Apply labels and marking codes in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.
- Labeling control: Check the accuracy and correctness of the information applied, including production dates, expiration dates, and product composition.
Logistics and Warehouse Operations:
- Using forklifts: Transport finished products to the warehouse, load goods onto transport vehicles for shipment.
- Safety compliance: Strictly follow all safety requirements at the workplace, including training and adherence to rules for operating equipment and forklifts.
Requirements:
- Age: 21 to 55 years old.
- Experience: Experience in production facilities, especially in the food industry or animal feed production, is preferred but not required. On-the-job training is provided.
- Physical stamina: Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift, willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Technical skills: Experience with production equipment and forklifts is a plus. Training is provided to obtain necessary certifications.
- Attention to detail: Ability to work with small components while maintaining high-quality standards and following instructions precisely.
- Language skills: Basic knowledge of English or Norwegian is desirable but not required. The company offers language courses to improve communication skills in the workplace.
Working Conditions:
- Salary: From €4700 per month (approximately 51,000 NOK), with the possibility of raises as you gain experience and take on additional responsibilities.
- Work schedule: A standard workday is 8 hours, 5-6 days a week. Overtime hours are available and paid at an increased rate according to Norwegian labor laws.
- Accommodation: The company provides free housing in comfortable dormitories or apartments near the plant. Separate apartments are available for employees with families.
- Meals: Free meals at the plant or meal compensation.
- Transport: Organized transport to and from the workplace, as well as reimbursement for travel expenses for employees using their own vehicles.
