Job Description

Position Title: CRP / ARP Operator
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Department: Manufacturing (Production)

Job Purpose

Support the Production Supervisor in maintaining company assets to ensure optimal operation, minimal downtime, and extended equipment lifespan. The role focuses on safe machine operation, preventive maintenance, and adherence to production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Operate assigned machinery and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ensure continuous production flow by maintaining operational standards and performance levels.

Tool Management

• Maintain tools, safety gear, and equipment in good working condition.
• Coordinate repair or replacement of damaged tools or equipment when necessary.

Time Management

• Complete all maintenance tasks within assigned time frames.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor if additional resources are required to meet deadlines.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

• Follow all relevant HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards at all times.

Housekeeping

• Apply 5S principles to maintain a clean and organized work environment before, during, and after operations.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and contribute to process improvements.

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform autonomous and preventive maintenance as per maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns.
• Support maintenance teams during scheduled preventive maintenance activities.

Machinery Installation

• Assist project and maintenance teams during machinery installation and commissioning.

Training and Development

• Attend all mandatory training sessions as part of professional development.
• Identify and suggest additional training needs related to job performance and safety.
• Support training of new operators and assistants on assigned machines.

Breakdown Maintenance

• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to restore production efficiency.
• Conduct routine checks using standard checklists to detect deviations or abnormalities and take corrective action.
• Assist maintenance teams during unplanned maintenance activities.

SAP System

• Record maintenance data accurately in the SAP Asset Management system.
• Follow SAP processes within the Plant Maintenance module for cost analysis, breakdown tracking, and maintenance reliability reporting.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential:

• Secondary School Certificate with a Vocational Certificate in Maintenance or related trade.
• Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.

Desirable:

• Training in the SAP Maintenance Module.

Skills:

• Strong technical maintenance abilities.
• Good communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy rotating machinery within a large industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in ERP environments such as SAP is an advantage.

Internal: Production Supervisor, Planning and Engineering Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisor
External: Contractors and external maintenance service providers
 

Monthly Fixed salary

Basic:AED2500

Heat Allowance:AED375 

• Food – 3 meal in a day

(Monthly deduction of AED150/-)
