Women are increasingly faced with the problem of being unable to find work. Therefore, hundreds of thousands of citizens are looking for employment options outside of their country. At the same time, there is a shortage of labour resources in Europe, so it is quite realistic for women to find a decent job abroad.

Rules and Recommendations for Working Abroad:

If you decide to go to work in another country, be sure to arrange a visa and other documents according to the law. This will help to avoid problems as well as to defend your rights in disputable situations. If you are looking for a job through an intermediary, check the company's license on the Ministry of Social Policy website. In large cities, many specialized companies are engaged in providing jobs in Europe. Carefully study the employment contract, and negotiate all controversial points before signing it. Make photocopies of all your documents, notarize them and keep them separate from your valuables and originals.

for women to work abroad

Before choosing where to go to work, you need to find out for yourself some factors:

  1. The degree of proficiency in foreign languages. To get a high-paying job knowing only English may not be enough. In most cases, it is required to know at least a minimum level of the state language of the country to which you are going.

  2. Scope and pay. Looking for a job will be easier if you know exactly what position or in what area of activity you want to be involved. It is also important to decide on the desired salary; carefully calculate how much money will be spent on rent, food, and other daily needs.

  3. Education, experience. This is especially important if the applicant seeks long-term employment with high pay.

  4. A properly formulated resume. In many European countries, competitors' CVs are first screened by computer and then examined by HR specialists. That is why it is important to avoid all kinds of mistakes, to present information as accurately as possible, and to answer the questions of the questionnaire essentially.

  5. Correctly executed documents which are necessary for legal employment. In different countries the list of documents can vary significantly, you can find the list on the website of the consulate of the chosen country.

  6. Get acquainted with the legislation and law of the countries of prospective employment. It is important to know the laws of the state where you are going to go to work, as well as just on vacation. After all, in many countries, you can pay a huge fine for no reason. This is especially true for Asian countries, where residents respect not only the laws but also the traditions, including religion.

This is not all that you need to know when looking for the right job. The list is simply endless and is different for each country. Let's try to figure out which countries are the best to go to, and what the job promises there.

Working abroad without the knowledge of the language: Poland

Poland leads the ranking of the most popular countries, where people go to work. Due to geographical proximity this country is considered one of the most attractive not only for seasonal work but also for more long-term employment. Moreover, the demand for workers is also because Poles themselves often go to European countries to earn money. That is why locals gladly accept migrants. Another plus is that it is easy to take a family who stayed at home to Poland. The smallest salary for a labour migrant is about 420 euros.

But this amount will increase if the worker: has an in-demand profession; speaks Polish; knows English; and has sufficient work experience. Thus, on average, workers in the trade sphere earn 450 euros, those in construction - 613 euros, and engineers and IT-specialists - 1000 euros. It is possible to find a job with the help of specialized agencies or independently on the Polish sites of employment. Only after this check can a person get a job. And to get a good job, the applicant must meet all the requirements of the migration service, as well as know the German language. It is quite easy to get a residence permit here. The most popular jobs are IT specialist; graphic designer; engineer; teacher; social worker; cook.

Germany turned out to be the easiest place to find a job: Berlin and Stuttgart had the best results of all, even though there, too, 47 per cent of those surveyed reported difficulty in getting a job. The situation of labour migrants in France is similar to that in Germany. The owner of the company can hire a guest only after he does not find a French employee in the local market. This creates a lot of competition. At the same time, working conditions and salaries here are much higher than in other European countries. The average salary is 2,100 euros. Another advantage of migrating to this country - each employer must provide a labour contract for at least one year, and the salary must be at least 1.5 times higher than the national average.

The United Arab Emirates is an ideal place for migrant workers. Here 85% of the service personnel are migrants.
