Front-end Developer (React) vacancy in Riga Latvia

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced Front-end Developer (React) to join its team.

The task is to develop the Joyn application, which is a joint project of Discovery Channel and ProSieben. Joyn is a German analog of Netflix designed for TV and VoD streaming.

The customer is a European streaming platform with more than 60 TV channels broadcasting live, exclusive previews, original programs, premium shows, and movies. Users can watch content for free on various platforms, such as smart TVs, mobile devices (Android, iOS), the web, etc.

Tech stack on the project: React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a Front-end Developer for 2+ years;

• Knowledge of and experience with TypeScript for 1+ year;

• Experience in SmartTV development (Samsung Tizen and LG webOS);

• Strong knowledge of and experience with React;

• Experience with video players;

• Experience in creating high-performance and robust web applications;

• Ability to use unit and integration tests to ensure quality at all stages of work;

• Level of English – Intermediate.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Shaka Player.
