We are now recruiting an experienced HR Manager to support our development in Riga.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution and delivery of the HR strategy and People Plan, helping drive functional excellence and process improvement.

Main Duties:
- Manage and own the full recruitment life cycle from A to Z for your country, with limited support from your manager
- Have the ability to source Technically hard skill sets through a variety of methods: Head hunting, social media, referral centric sourcing strategies, professional networking, search & selection, behavioral interviewing
- In addition to this continuously provide new solutions and ideas for sourcing new methods to attract talent. This can be through new job boards, seeking and attending relevant conferences, building up talent pools
- At all stages of the recruitment process ensures credibility is maintained through effective feedback. Negotiate and present offers and close selected candidate
- Ensure the successful on boarding of the candidate
- Responsible for the entire HR cycle for employees within its scope (from hiring to termination)
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Higher education in management or social science
- 10 years as Human Resources Manager in construction
- At least B2 level in both English and Latvian (We would also greatly appreciate French, but it is not a requirement)
- Must have strong sourcing and networking skills with significant recruiting experience and the ability to remain calm and proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Latvian labour law and all local legal obligations
- Exposure working in the Latvia and being aware of the cultural nuances that exist
- Experience in using Microsoft Office specifically, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficiency with Latvian major job boards, social media platforms and application tracking system software (SUCCESS FACTORS preferred)
- Build organisational and people capability by driving and delivering the HR strategy for their business area
- Work closely with the business area to implement its business strategy from a people perspective, understanding its people challenges and objectives and developing appropriate strategies and solutions to address these
- Develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of our local business
- Contribute to the development of people practices and initiatives, providing guidance and technical expertise
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting).
- Ability to interact with an influence senior-level management
- Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors
- Excellent business judgement
