Job Summary

A Barista is needed to join a busy and bustling café in Dubai. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as well as knowledge and experience in specialty coffee brewing. We are open to considering an immigrant for this role, and with a salary of AED 1100.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders

• Serve hot and cold beverages, prepare specialty coffee drinks, such as cappuccinos and lattes

• Keep updated on products and promotions

• Clean work area and ensure cafe is in compliance with food safety standards

• Cash handling and operating a point-of-sale (POS) system

• Assist with opening and closing the café

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working as a barista in a café

• Working knowledge of specialty coffee beverages

• Knowledge of proper keeping and heat-holding procedures for food
