Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. Our international team is involved in a range of projects, from developing furniture and art pieces to repairing existing furniture and features. We are looking for someone who has a passion for the craft and who has a creative eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and markers.

• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fibre glass) according to measurements.

• Assemble furniture and other structures, based on customer needs, using hand tools and power tools.

• Make and install windows, doors, cabinets, shelves, and other items.

• Measure and calculate the dimensions and angles of different structures
